Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Clear of Fort Myers, Fla., announce the engagement of their daughter Stefaniane Heather Clear to Kyle Frank McClellan, son of Mr. and Mrs. John McClellan Jr. of Rome.

Miss Clear is a 2005 graduate of Riverdale High School and a 2009 graduate of Berry College with a Bachelor of Science degree in animal science and a minor in chemistry.

The bride-elect is the sister of Matthew Thomas Clear of Mustang, Okla., and Candice Clear Garlick of Fort Myers, Fla. She is the granddaughter of Geraldine Clear of North Fort Myers, Fla.

McClellan is a 2004 graduate of Rome High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of West Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in political science. While at UWG he was a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity. He is employed with Chick-fil-A Inc.

The groom-elect is the brother of Kevin Benton McClellan of Rome and Karen Diane McClellan of Athens. He is the grandson of Raye Nell Benton and the late Owen Franklin Benton of Mexico Beach, Fla., and Mary Helen McClellan and the late John Frank McClellan Sr. of Bremen.

The wedding ceremony is planned for noon, Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011, at First Baptist Church of Rome.
