The event is being held as a warm up to support the inaugural Assail the Trails mountain bike race the following weekend at Jackson Hill and Rocky Mountain Recreation Area.
The Harbin Foundation Team hopes to give new racers some tips and skills so they can have an even better experience at Rome’s first mountain bike race. Participants of the clinic do not have to register for the race. The clinic is well suited to anyone looking to hone their mountain bike skills.
The clinic will meet at the Civic Center Parking lot at 2 p.m. There will be a short talk about mountain bike riding and racing, then off to the trails to work on specific skills. All participants will also receive a selection of nutrition products from Hammer Nutrition. More information is available online at www.romevelo.net.
