An Adairsville man was arrested and charged Monday afternoon with a felony of theft by receiving stolen property, according to Floyd County Jail report.

According to the report:

Jeremy Lamar Cochran, 42, of 84 Linwood Road, was arrested and charged at 3 p.m. Monday after police said he received a stolen 1986 Ford Ranger at Newell Recycling Center in Rome when he should have known the vehicle was stolen.

He remained in jail Monday night without bond, awaiting transport to Dawson County Jail. Reports did not indicate if Cochran worked at the recycling center.
