Tellus Science Museum captures video of 'fireball' spotted by Ga. eyewitnesses

Tellus Science Museum with its NASA fireball camera captured images of a bright object spotted in the sky in three states about 10:19 last night.

The meteor was first recorded southeast of Tunnel Hill at an altitude of 51.5 miles, and was moving slightly south of west at approximately 33,500 mph. It was last seen 16.9 miles above State Route 95 southeast of Rock Springs.

Scientist are working to refine its trajectory and determine if the object possessed the characteristics of a meteorite producer.
