Former Darlington and Florida State punter Shawn Powell has familiar faces around him as he embarks on his NFL career.

The punter, whose named was not called during the NFL draft, signed as an undrafted free agent with the Buffalo Bills,

joining two other ex-Semiinoles players — offensive linemen Nigel Bradham and Zebrie Sanders.

Powell ended 2011 as the nation’s leader in punting average (47.0 yards per punt). He also was an All-America selection by multiple outlets.
