Braves fall in rain-delayed road game

The Rome Braves fell on the road Thursday night to the Hagerstown Suns, 9-3.

The game, which was delayed by rain in the third , was tied 2-2 in the sixth before the Suns put up four runs in the inning to put the game away.

Jakob Dalfonso was 2-for-4 with two RBIs for the Braves, Brandon Drury was 2-for-4, and Edison Sanchez was 2-for-3.

Joe Lucas was handed the loss on the mound.

The Braves conclude their series against the Suns on Friday night at 7 p.m.
