Final: Tourists 10, Braves 3

The turning point:

Facing a potentially workable 5-3 deficit, the Braves surrendered five runs in the top of the ninth as the Tourists broke the game wide open and sent the Braves to their 11th straight loss.

Who did what for Rome:

Will Skinner had a big night for the Braves, going 3-for-4 with a double, a homer and three RBIs. The home run was a solo shot in the third inning, and was his fourth of the season.

On the mound:

Rome starter A.J. Holland went six innings, allowing five runs (four earned) on six hits. Reliever Jarrett Miller was charged with five runs on three hits and three walks while recording two outs in the ninth.

Game notes:

The Braves have now lost 12 of their past 14 home games.
