Floyd-Rome Retired Educators Association members attended the 54th annual convention of the Georgia Retired Educators Association at Calloway Gardens in Pine Mountain on May 1 through May 3.

Among the speakers were Darrell Huckaby, a syndicated newspaper columnist and educator; Georgia First Lady Sandra Deal; Brenda Gilkey, Ms. Senior Georgia; and Mary Ann McDaniel, 2012-2013 GREA president.
