After working so hard for the past few weeks, the players in the RFPRA’s softball league weren’t going to let a little rain spoil their fun on the final night of the season.

Especially not when championships were on the line, which was the case in the 8-and-under and 10-and-under divisions.

The Dynamite Divas came away with the title in the 8-and-under division by downing the Eagles, 14-6, and the Merchants won the 10-and-under championship with a with a 7-3 win over the Lady Tribe.

The full evening of action at Alto Park was the second night of RFPRA softball championship games.

On Monday, the 12-and-under Mystics and the 14-and-under Lady Dragons both captured titles in their respective divisions.

There will be more titles on the line on Thursday night, when four championship baseball games are played at North Floyd Park.
