Amonya Serica Lowe and Christopher Bernard Dallas, both of Rome, announce their engagement.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Linda C. Fain of Atlanta and Booker T. and Gennie R. Smith of Rome. She is the granddaughter of the late Betsy Smith and the late Fannie Mae Fain Strickland. She is the great-granddaughter of Annie Mae Fain.

The bride-elect is the mother of Calvin III, Chasmine and Cameron Lowe, all of Rome. She is the sister of Thomas Smith of Rome, Yvonne Roden of Rome, Aretha Stamper of Rome, Erica Harris of Douglasville, Booker T. Smith of South Carolina, Lakicia Orr of Florida, Brittany Wright of Rome and the late Nashon Orr of California.

Miss Lowe is employed with Shaw Industries as a Sample Administrator in Cartersville.

The groom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James and Danette Shropshire of Calhoun and the late Freddie Lee Dallas. He is the grandson of Bernice Cunningham of Rome, Euretha Daniel of Rome, the late Emmanual Cunningham, the late Robert Dallas and the late Cora Shropshire. He is the great-grandson of Julia Cunningham of Ohio, the late Herman Lewis and the late Catherine Daniel.

Dallas is the father of Jasmine Dallas of Rome and Jaylaan and JaLeah Dallas of Calhoun. He is the brother of Frederick and Steve Dallas, both of Rome.

Dallas is currently employed with Allied Food in Rome.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Greater Bethlehem Holiness Church. Family and friends are invited to attend. Invitations have been sent.
