Dr. Talmadge Barnes of Rome performed the double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack B. Roberts Jr. of Rome. The parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Wiley Kelvin Ratliff of Rome.
The ceremony took place under a hand crafted wooden arbor placed in a lovely meadow behind the family home. The arbor was accented with an abundance of beautiful spring daisies.
Greg Dowdy sang “God Gave Me You” during the sand ceremony.
The maid of honor was Heather Ratliff of Rome. The bridesmaids were Amie Green, Abbi Davis, and Kendal Boyd, all of Rome.
The flower girls were Lola Barnes of Athens and Reagan Blair of Birmingham, Ala.
Kelvin Ratliff, father of the groom, and Caleb Ratliff, brother of the groom, were the best men.
Groomsmen were Matt Green, Jackson Abercrombie, and Jeff Roberts, brother of the bride, of Rome. The ring-bearer was Trace LeVerne, cousin of the groom, of Rome. He was escorted by the flower girls down the aisle in a wagon.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of Kelvin and Jennifer Ratliff. The four-tiered cake was iced in white with turquoise detail and accented with white daisies.
The evening before the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at The Sage Cottage Inn in Adairsville.
After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple will reside in Auburn, Ala.
