Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Lee Thomas of Calhoun announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristen Danielle Thomas, to Timothy James Stover, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Lewis Stover of Rome.

Miss Thomas is a 2005 honor graduate of Armuchee High School and a 2011 graduate of Georgia Highlands College with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She is currently employed as a dental hygienist at Van Horn Family Dentistry in Calhoun.

The bride-elect is the sister of CW3 Daniel L. Thomas of Raeford, N.C. She is the granddaughter of Calvin and Shirley Thomas of Plainville, Joyce Waits of Calhoun, and the late Robert Allen Talley of Rome.

The groom-elect is a 2005 graduate of Coosa High School. He is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences through Ashford University and is employed by Heaven’s Attic in Rome.

He is the grandson of Rev. Paul T. Stover of Rome, the late Rev. Margaret J. Stover, as well as the late Oscar and Wilma Wilbanks of Sugar Valley.

The wedding is planned for Friday June 29, 2012 at 7 p.m. at Armuchee Church of God with a reception to follow at the Rome Area History Museum. Invitations have been sent.
