CANTON, Ga. (AP) — Military servicemen killed in the line of duty will be honored during a ceremony at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.

The program begins 11 a.m. Saturday and will feature retired U.S. Air Force Col. Robert Certain as the keynote speaker.

The holiday first honored soldiers who perished during the Civil War and gradually came to include servicemen and women who died in all conflicts.
