A Rome teen was jailed early Saturday morning after police found that he was drunk, destroyed mailboxes and was cussing and screaming, reports stated.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Corey Guy Barnes, 18, of 3A Queen St., was jailed on misdemeanor charges of criminal trespass, disorderly conduct and underage possession of alcohol after police reported he became “extremely intoxicated” and then tore down the mailboxes at his own and neighbor’s residences.

When police arrived, they found Barnes screaming and cursing “at the top of his lungs.”

After the officer told him to quiet down, Barnes took a seat on the front steps of his Queen Street residence before he was placed under arrest.
