According to the report:
Timothy Dalton Barton, 30, of 3839 Hwy. 34 West in Franklin, allegedly fired a 9mm handgun several times while driving by the residence. One shot struck the vehicle parked in the driveway, another hit a utility pole next to the vehicle and multiple rounds struck the front of the house.
The drive-by was reportedly premeditated and Barton’s vehicle made several passes by the house before firing, police said. The report stated he is a member of a street gang.
Barton was charged with felony aggravated assault, reckless conduct causing harm or endangering safety, criminal damage to property in the second degree, possession of a firearm while trying to commit crimes, possession of firearms by a convicted felon or first offender probationer, participation in a criminal street gang, conspiracy to commit a crime, parole violation, misdemeanor disorderly conduct and discharge of gun or pistol near public highway or street.
He remained in jail on Sunday night.
