Late lead slips away for Rome Braves

Final: Intimidators 6, Braves 4

The turning point: With Rome leading 4-3, the Intimidators plated three runs in the bottom of the seventh to take a 6-4 lead.

Who did what for Rome: Elmer Reyes went 2-for-4, Sergio Miranda drove in two runs and had one hit, Cory Brownsten had two hits and an RBI, and Brandon Drury had an RBI.

On the mound: Starter Greg Ross got the no decision after going six innings, allowing 10 hits and giving up three runs. Ernesto Silva got his fourth loss of the season after blowing a save and allowing three runs in the seventh inning.

Game notes: Robert Hefflinger made his season debut with the Braves and finished with a double and two walks.

Next Game: Rome will be in Kannapolis again today for game two of there three game series with first pitch set for 7:05 p.m.
