Weiss Lake drowning victim identified

LEESBURG, Ala. — Law enforcement officials have identified a man who drowned in Weiss Lake.

According to reports, rescue crews recovered the body of Paul Clarke Cooke, 44, from Indiana, at about 4:41 p.m. Monday. Alabama Marine Police Officer Rick Sides said the Cherokee County Rescue Squad recovered the body.
