A Rome man was arrested and charged Wednesday with felony counts of burglary and influencing witnesses, according to a Floyd County Jail report.

According to the report:

Dennis Wayne Hall, 18, of 245 Cave Spring St., allegedly entered another home on Cave Spring Street on May 24 with the intent to commit a felony or theft.

Hall also allegedly sent text messages to a witness involved in the criminal investigation for the burglary with the intent to sway that person and hinder law enforcement officials.

He remained in jail Wednesday night without bond.
