The weather might be both the good news and the bad news for tonight’s First Friday concert.
The good: Today’s high is only expected to reach 76 degrees. The bad: There is a chance of thunderstorms after 2 p.m. decreasing as the day goes on.
If the rain doesn’t ruin the night, the temperature should be right for concert-goers.
The Atlanta-based Infinity Show Band is scheduled to take the stage for the free concert at Bridgepoint Plaza beginning at 7 p.m.
The band is known for its repertoire of Motown, rhythm and blues and contemporary hits.
In case of rain, the concert will be moved to the Rome City Auditorium, 601 Broad St.
