Final: Braves 15, Drive 5 (at SMS)

The turning point:

The game was tied 3-3 from the end of the first inning until the bottom of the fifth when the Braves put up five runs for an 8-5 lead. The Braves went on to score two in the sixth, three in the seventh and two in the eighth.

Who did what for Rome: Kyle Kubitza was 3-for-4 with three RBI, three runs scored and a double. Robby Hefflinger was

3-for-5 with three runs scored, a double and one RBI. William Beckwith was 2-for-4 with two runs scored, a double and two RBI. Tony

Mueller was 2-for-3 with three runs scored and an RBI. Elmer Reyes was

2-for-4 with a run scored, a double and two RBI.

On the mound: David Filak improved to 3-5 on the season. He pitched five innings and struck out seven.

Game notes: The win was the second straight for the Rome Braves in their series against the Drive.

Next Game: The Braves will try to complete the sweep this afternoon at 1 p.m. in their final game of the three-game series against the Drive.
