Elizabeth Rae Hutcheson, 27, was stabbed and beaten to death Thursday as she made the delivery to 229 Thompson St. in Cedartown.
The funeral service for Hutcheson will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lester Litesey Funeral home in Cedartown. Hutcheson was the mother of a young daughter.
Police arrested Cadedra Cook, 18, who lived at the home, and a 15-year-old boy and charged them with murder in connection with Hutcheson’s death.
Polk County District Attorney Robert Brooks said the 15-year-old will be charged as an adult in the slaying.
The boy was arrested Friday with Cook, after a manhunt ended in a field on the property of the Old Hale Manufacturing Building on Lafayette Street, according to officials.
It’s not known when the two will make their first court appearance.
Cook was arrested in March on charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and interference with child custody, according to Cedartown Police Department records.
Records indicate the boy was a troubled teen and left his parents’ Cedartown home to stay with Cook on March 16. He turned 15 on March 17, records show.
Police found the boy in a bedroom in Cook’s home and arrested Cook on March 19, records state.
