The turning point: The game was tied 1-1 until the ninth inning when, with the bases loaded, Garrett Buechele was hit by a pitch, scoring the winning run.

On the mound: Bryam Garcia was handed the loss and dropped to 0-1 on the season. Navery Moore pitched the first six innings of the game, struck out eight and gave up three hits and one earned run.
Game notes: The loss was the conclusion of the Braves’ final road series before the South Atlantic League All-Star game, which will take place Tuesday in Charleston, S.C.
