CEDARTOWN — The Cedartown community is starting charity drives to help the family victimized in the June 7 murder of pizza worker Elizabeth Hutcheson.

Bar-L Bar-B-Que on Rockmart Highway in Cedartown put out a donation jar last week. The restaurant is partnering with Hutcheson’s church, New Harmony Baptist Church, in creating a trust fund for Hutcheson’s 4-year-old daughter.

Organizers said the fund is to help the child get a good start in life once she becomes an adult. It is set up so it can’t be touched until she turns 18 years old, organizers said.

Domino’s Pizza, where Hutcheson worked, also has a donation jar. That money will go into a trust fund set up by the pizza chain for Hutcheson’s daughter.

Contributions can be made to the trust fund in the name of Hutcheson’s mother, Frances Edgeworth.

To donate, make checks out to The Frances Edgeworth Trust Fund or make cash contributions at any Regions Bank branch.

Domino’s Pizza will also be contributing to the fund and sharing this information with its team members and franchise owners across the country, according to Tim McIntyre, vice president of communications for Domino’s Pizza.
