The tournament will feature more than 300 tennis players from Georgia, Tennessee, Arkansas, South Carolina, Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina and Kentucky.
Rome will be represented by Sarah Hubbard. Hubbard also competed in the Georgia State Junior Closed Challenger, which ended Thursday. Hubbard came away from that tournament
with a runner-up singles finish and a doubles title.
Also from the Greater Rome area, Calhoun players Megan Cochran and McClain Kessler will compete in the event.
Action will take place at the Rome-Floyd Tennis Center, Alto Park, Darlington School and Etowah Park.
Tournament action will continue through June 23.
