2 Rome men caught with meth

Two Rome men were charged with possession of methamphetamine after they were caught with the drug at the federal building, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the reports:

Jesse Michael Cushing, 45, of 3 Sylvan St., and Milton Tyrone Bedford, 52, of 5 Orlystes Drive, were arrested shortly after 5 p.m. at the federal building, 600 E. First St.

Cushing was charged with possession of methamphetamine, probation violation and has a hold for the U.S. Marshals.Bedford was charged with possession of methamphetamine.

Both men remained in the Floyd County Jail on Monday evening.
