Three sisters, Corrina Furner, 7, Marisa Furner, 4, and Haley Furner, 9, recently got their hair cut for Locks of Love. Stylist Stacee Bolinger from Cutting Edge Salon was the stylist. Their parents are Eric and Linda Furner of Silver Creek.

Locks of Love is a public nonprofit organization using donated hair to provide hairpieces for financially disadvantaged children suffering from long-term medical hair loss.

The first 1,000 times somebody donated their hair to Locks of Love, it MIGHT have been news. Now it is just an unpaid ad for a hairstylist and a way for a parent to get their child's picture in the newspaper. Spare us.
