The Aragon Green Jackets recently competed in the Dizzy Dean district tournament at Hamilton Crossing.

The team cruised through the competition and capped their perfect run with a 9-5 win against Southwest in the championship game.

Kole Holder pitched a complete game in the championship. He threw six innings, gave up one hit, struck out seven, walked one and gave up one earned run.

Jose Arias, Darian Pollientz Cam Jones and Chaz Leathers each had one hit, one run each and one RBI each. The Aragon Green Jacket will compete in the Dizzy Dean state tournament in Sandy Springs on Thursday.

The team is comprised of Darien Pollientz, Chaz Leathers, Rafael Nunez, Kole Holder, Nick Huddleston, Jesse Kirkpatrick, Zuker Campbell, Will Sanders, Truett Boman, Payton Morrow, Avery Wilkes, Jose Arias, Cam Jones, Justin Tanner, Avery Allen and Michael Gay. The team is coached by head coach Jerome Bowman, and assistant coaches Randy Kirkpatrick, Mike Moore and Richard Penson.
