A Tunnel Hill man charged with child molestation in 2010 and found not guilty by a Whitfield County jury in 2011 on some charges was again found not guilty by a jury in Superior Court after a retrial, a court officer said.

Meddie Robert Collins, 24, was charged in April 2010 with aggravated child molestation, child molestation, sodomy and enticing a child for indecent purposes. Collins and Casey Andrew Stamey, 23, of 3265 Dogwood Valley Road in Tunnel Hill, met three girls who had sneaked out of a residence in the Old Cotton Mill Road area, and one of the girls’ parents later contacted authorities, according to court documents.
