A large brush fire near the Polk-County line near Cave Spring has led officials to close the road from near the 3500 block to the county line, said Randy Lacey, Polk County EMA Director.

The fire is affecting about 70 acres and as of this afternoon, no homes are endangered.

"There's lots of smoke," Lacey said.
