After losing the opener, 4-0, the Braves won the second game, 6-3. William Beckwith and Brandon Drury each homered in the first inning to help set the tone for the win.

Final: Drive 4, Braves 0 (in Greenville)
The turning point: Greenville scored two runs in the first inning and then added a pair of insurance runs in the fifth to seal the win over the Braves in the seven-inning contest. It was the opener of a doubleheader.
Who did what for Rome: The Braves finished with just three hits, all singles.
On the mound: A pair of former SEC stars pitched for the Braves. Alex Wood (from UGA) worked the first three innings and allowed two runs on three hits to suffer his first loss since joining the club. Navery Moore (Vanderbilt) pitched three innings and allowed two runs on four hits.
GAME 2
Final: Braves 6, Drive 3
The turning point: William Beckwith and Brandon Drury each hit two-run homers in the first inning to highlight a five-run rally. The Braves added one more run in the second to build a 6-0 lead, and held on from there to split the doubleheader.
Who did what for Rome: Elmer Reyes
finished 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles and an RBI. Drury also finished with two hits, adding a double to go with his homer.
On the mound: Rome starter Greg Ross (2-6) pitched five innings, allowing three runs on seven hits with no walks and seven strikeouts. Reliever Ronan Pacheco and David Peterson followed with one scoreless inning each.
