Roman picked up on drug charges after not showing up for court

A Rome man is facing drug charges after sheriff’s deputies found hydrocodone and methamphetamine on him after his arrest on a failure to appear warrant, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the reports:

Dale Terre Suit, 50, 13 Rosemont Drive, was arrested for failing to appear on a DUI, hit and run, possession of drug related objects, following to closely, and possession of a con-trolled substance charges.

Deputies said he dropped methamphetamine and hydrocodone in the back seat of the patrol car.

Suit also had a glass pipe with methamphetamine residue in his sock.

In addition the failure to appear charge, he is charged with possession of drug related objects, possession of a controlled substances, possession of drugs by inmates and possession of methamphetamines.

He remained in jail on Tuesday morning.
