Mr. and Mrs. David Strawn of Kingston announce the engagement of their daughter Allison Paige Strawn to Joshua Stan Cauthen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley H. Cauthen of Armuchee and Dixie J. Storey of Cedar Bluff.

Miss Strawn is a 2007 graduate of Cass High School, a 2009 graduate of Coosa Valley Technical College in Medical Billing and Coding and a 2010 graduate of Kennesaw State University in Pharmacy Technician. She is employed at Holt’s Pharmacy.

The bride-elect is the sister of Garrett Strawn and Dillon Strawn of Kingston. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thornton W. Ray of Hemphill, Texas, Mr. and Mrs. James Johnson of Dodge City, Kan., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ira L. Strawn.

Cauthen is a 2002 graduate of Armuchee High School and a 2007 graduate of Southern Polytechnic State University with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. He is employed at Applied Technical Services.

The groom-elect is the brother of Leigh Katherine Cauthen Hibberts and the stepbrother of Wes and Benji Brooks, both of Rome, and Candice Beaver of West Lafayette, Ind. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Sephord H. Cauthen of Lindale, Jane Carter of Silver Creek and the late Arthur L. Morris Jr.

The wedding ceremony is planned for Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at The Farm in Rome.
