Restaurant employee charged with stealing customer's iPad

A local restaurant employee remained in jail Friday night after she allegedly took an Apple iPad from a customer’s table and hid it behind a serving tray while she was cleaning the dining room, according to a Floyd County Jail report.

According to the report:

Margaret Marcia Kelly, 49, of 3205 Maple Road, was charged with felony theft by taking.

The report did not state at which restaurant the incident occurred.

Kelly was being held Friday night without bond.
