Mark Virtue, M.D., has graduated from the Floyd Medical Center's Family Medicine Residency program and joined the Floyd Primary Care network as a family medicine specialist.

Initially, Dr. Virtue will provide care for patients throughout the Primary Care Network in Floyd, Bartow, Chattooga and Polk counties.

Dr. Virtue received his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine, Grenada, West Indies. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree and studied pre-medicine at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro.

He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and has volunteered with a medical mission in Ouanaminthe, Haiti.
