According to arrest reports from the Floyd County Jail, Meghan Nicole Blanco, 28, of 32 Daryl Road in Silver Creek, and Joel Dale Sisson, 28, of 40 Daryl Road, were both arrested by Floyd County police at 11 p.m. Friday following the shooting.
Reports stated that around 8 p.m., Sisson showed up at Blanco’s home violating a conditional bond to stay away from her and her family. Before arriving at the house, Sisson was reported to have called Blanco and threatened to kill her, which was reported to have been recorded by 911.
Once he arrived, Blanco and Sisson got into an altercation during which Blanco was reported to have shot Sisson in the back with a single .22 caliber round from a revolver. Sisson was treated and released at Floyd Medical Center.
Sisson was charged with felony aggravated stalking and terroristic threats and acts and remained in jail Saturday night. Blanco, was charged with felony aggravated assault, was released from jail on $8,550 bond on Saturday.

Floyd County police responded to a shooting at 32 Daryl Road in Silver Creek on Friday, July 20, just after 8 p.m.
According to Capt. Carl Lively:
A man, whose identification was being withheld late Friday night, was shot once in his upper right shoulder in the back yard of the residence near a shed. He was rushed to Floyd Medical Center for treatment and was still at the hospital late Friday.
Sgt. Ron Hunton said two people were arrested late Friday night, but he did not provide names as police were not prepared to release any details.
