ATLANTA (AP) — Police say they need help from the public to identify a body found by fishermen in the Chattahoochee River.

Investigators tell WSB-TV they've been unable to identify the victim through dental or fingerprint information.

Cobb County police Sgt. Dana Pierce says investigators know how the man was killed, and they consider his death a homicide. The fishermen called police Wednesday after they discovered the body near Akers Mill Road.

Police say the tattoos included a devil, panther, Rottweiler; a heart with a dagger; and the names "Latasha" and "Ralph."

Other tattoos include one depicting the African continent with a lion, elephant and female image inside of it; a Greek/Egyptian goddess covering a "Toni" tattoo; and an outline of the USA with "916" and an image of a male in chains.
