The Rome Braves announce that play-off tickets for the 2012 South Atlantic League championship will go on sale to the public on August 16th. Fans can purchase tickets at State Mutual Stadium or online at www.romebraves.com.

The Rome Braves have been one of the hottest teams in baseball and recently set a franchise record of 13 consecutive victories. The team holds a 4.5 game lead in the South Atlantic League’s Southern Division.

“We need Rome, Floyd County, and all of Northwest Georgia to pack the park,” says Rome General Manager Michael Dunn. “This is our first playoff appearance since 2006 and we want to bring a South Atlantic League championship back to Rome!”

Ticket prices for the Play-offs remain the same as regular season prices: $10 Club Level, $8 Field Level, $6 Box Seats, and $4 Home Run Hill Lawn Seats. Ticket prices increase by $1 each if purchased the day of game.

The South Atlantic League Southern Division playoff (best of three series) game one will be held in Rome on September 5th. The Championship Series (best of five) will be played September 10th and 11th in Rome. All games will be at 7 p.m.
