Roman Kirsten McClain has opened a web-based business to help Romans learn Spanish, www.learn-espanol.com.

McClain said the business was germinated from a parent of a student whom she had taught in school.

The mother wanted her child to be able to access Spanish lessons at home.

McClain had done a blog before, but the parent suggested a subscription-based website where students could learn Span-ish at home and on their own time frame.

McClain’s website is deigned to teach children ages 3 and up, and to provide a service for parents who want their child to learn Spanish but don't have the time to carry the child to a private tutor.

McClain has been a Spanish teacher for nearly ten years, having taught from pre-school through high school.

She was a business major at berry so the development the new website combines her educational training with her real life experiences.

One of the unique things about her business is that it offers very young people an opportunity to learn Spanish when lan-guage classes are typically not available to children in the early childhood classroom.

McClain can be contacted at 706-290-1258.
