Warrant: Cedartown man threatened to "gut" victim "like a fish"

A Cedartown man was arrested Friday, Aug. 10, after he got into a verbal altercation with another man at 131 Dodd Blvd., according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the reports:

Nathaniel Allen Clackum, 21, of 861 Akes Station Road, was charged with felony terroristic threats and acts and felony criminal damage to property.

He is accused of pulling a knife on the victim and threatening to “gut him like a fish” at approximately 1:30 a.m. on July 28.

Following the altercation, Clackum reportedly scratched the victim’s vehicle with what is believed to be a knife, causing damages of approximately $2,500.
