Man charged with selling marijuana

A Rome man remained in jail after he allegedly sold marijuana to a cooperating witness on several occasions, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the reports:

Maurice Antione Kennebrew, 25, of 217 Coosawattee Ave., allegedly sold marijuana on three separate occasions between March and August to the witness from his residence that is near West End Elementary School.

Kennebrew was charged with possession of more than an ounce of marijuana, two counts of possession of less than an ounce marijuana, three counts of sale of marijuana, three counts of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and three counts of possession of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school.
