The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office and the Rome Braves have joined forces to host a Celebrity Dinner at the Three Rivers Club at State Mutual Stadium on Thursday September 20. The proceeds from the prime rib dinner will benefit the Sheriff’s Youth Initiative sponsored by the FCSO. Dinner will be served by local public figures as they compete to see who can collect the most tips to benefit the Sheriff’s Youth Initiative programs. Serving times are 5:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m., and 7:30 p.m. with limited seating available.

Local celebrity waiters include for the 5:30 p.m. seating: Sheriff Tim Burkhalter, Chief Tom Caldwell, Pastor Jody Hagerty, Warden Jeff Chandler, Pastor Jason Stockton, Commissioner John Mayes, Chief Elaine Snow, Pastor David Harper, Pastor Jason Willis, and Pastor Steve Dennis. Serving the 6:30 p.m. seating will be District Attorney Leigh Patterson, Clerk of Court Barbara Penson, Magistrate Judge Bob Couey, Chief Magistrate Judge Gene Richardson, Probate Judge Steve Burkhalter, Commissioner Rhonda Wallace, Stevie from the Rebel, and Jim & Monica from Q102. The 7:30 p.m. seating will feature Commissioner Irwin Bagwell, Clerk of Court Barbara Penson, Commissioner Garry Fricks, Commissioner Rhonda Wallace, Kevin Daniels from South 107, Nelle Regan and John Druckenmiller from WRGA, and John Quinlivan from Redmond Regional Medical Center.

“We are happy to host this event for such a great cause, the Sheriff’s Youth Initiative programs, with the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office. I am sure all of the local celebrity wait staff will be working extra hard for some really great tips that evening,” said Rome Braves General Manager, Michael Dunn.

The Sheriff’s Youth Initiative programs are geared at helping the youth of Floyd County. It is the desire of Georgia’s Sheriffs to see children participate in healthy activities that are drug-free, non-violent, and that promote safety.

“We are thrilled to have the Rome Braves, our local government partners and our many friends support us as we continue to serve the kids in Rome and Floyd County,” said Sheriff Tim Burkhalter.

Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased at the box office at State Mutual Stadium or from members of the FCSO. For more information, contact Matt Maddox or Anna Banks at the FCSO at 706-291-4111 EXT. 8817 or the Rome Braves at 706-378-5144.
