Police responded to a report of a shooting Wednesday evening at the intersection of Pine Street and Roseway Circle in the area of North Broad Street.

According to Rome Police officer Zachary Colvin:

Kenneth Beasley, 22, was in stable condition after being shot in the right arm three times. The victim was reported to have been shot during an altercation that happened in the roadway at about 6:20 p.m.

By the time officers arrived on the scene, the victim had already been taken by car to Floyd Medical Center where he was located and questioned by police.

The circumstances of the shooting are still under investigation. Police say they do have a suspect but are not able to release their name at this time.
