Firefighters are set to burn a structure in South Rome as part of a firefighter training exercise today near the recently finished Mercy Housing Senior complex.

They will be conducting a series of fire drills at the house today with a full burn likely to take place this afternoon.

The structure was donated to the fire department by the City of Rome, who owns the property.
