In the show, Julia Dowling has an unexpected visitor this Christmas — Death, who appears to escort her to the afterlife. But since it’s the day before Christmas, Julia persuades Death to give her one more day to enjoy the holiday and invites him to be her guest at a party.
As the house fills with bickering relatives, friends and the local priest, Death (masquerading as a human) sings carols and drinks egg nog along with everyone else. Moments of high farce, drama and even romance arise as bright holiday fantasies collide with a not-so-merry reality.
The show runs Friday at 7 p.m. at Triple Threat Arts Company at Mount Berry Square Mall. Tickets are $15.
