What is the primary purpose of your business?

To offer unique one-of-a-kind handcrafted jewelry that is affordable. We are not high-end or low-end.

What is the business background of the owners?

My husband has owned his own business for 25 years and daughter Jessica owns her graphic business. I have been in retail for 40-plus years.

Why did you start (or purchase) this particular business?

We saw a need in the community for a store like this. A jewelry store that everyone can afford. We had a booth at the Coosa Valley Fair and everyone was asking us where our store was. We decided at that point in time that it was time to open a store.

What makes your business unique?

Not only do we offer handcrafted jewelry made in the store, but we also have handcrafted jewelry from different countries. We also have bottle toppers and we also do custom made bridal jewelry.

What do you enjoy most about your chosen profession?

Meeting my customers, making a custom piece of jewelry just for them.



What has been the biggest or most interesting challenge to overcome as a small business owner?

I think just letting people know that we’re here and we have hours for the working person. We’re open when others are closed. The other stores downtown are closed in the evening so we’re open for the person who works all the time. Instead of having them rush to get ready to go to the store and find it closed, we’re open and then finding it closed

I think they would be very pleased with what we have to offer. We carry Swarovski Crystal and pearls, freshwater pearls, global handcrafted jewelry and unique one-of-a kind pieces of jewelry.
