The registration period is scheduled for Feb. 4 through Feb. 15, providing a prime opportunity for parents to register their children for the slots available in the pre-K program in for the 2013-2014 school year. To be eligible for pre-K, a child must be 4 years old on or before Sept. 1.
Applications for the program will be available at each school in the system offering a pre-K class beginning on Monday, Feb. 4.

All parents of applicants will be notified by mail concerning the status of their application by the end of February.
There will be 19 pre-K classes formed next year in the Floyd County school system.
