Two men were arrested after an altercation at a Broad Street bar around 10:30 p.m. Sunday, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the reports:

Christopher Douglas Ingram, 45, of 14 Eagle Ridge Drive, Kingston, was charged with one count of battery, seven counts of simple battery and one count each of public drunkenness and criminal trespass.

Charles Aaron Stoner, 23, of 23, of 606 ½ E. 12th St., Rome, was charged with seven counts of simple battery and one count each of public drunkenness and criminal trespass.

When police arrived at the 400 Block Bar, 413 Broad St., Stoner was coming out of the establishment and he was stopped by police and ordered to the ground at gunpoint.

Stoner told police that the fight was inside and officers said they could hear what appeared to be a large fight at the bar upstairs.

One man told police them that Stoner and Ingram had arrived with two other people and began arguing and shoving other patrons.

The two men were asked to leave but would not and began pushing and shoving other patrons. Ingram struck a man in the face at one point, causing his nose to bleed.

Both men were released on bond Monday with Ingram’s bond set at $11,840 and Stoner’s bond at $10,540.
