AMC’s ‘Small Town Security’ gets award nod

RINGGOLD — AMC’s “Small Town Security,” a reality show about a private investigation company in Ringgold, has been nominated for a 2013 GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Reality Program.

The series will face off against “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo,” “The Amazing Race,” “The Real L Word” and “Pregnant in Heels.”

Previous winners in this category include “Project Runway,” “RuPaul’s Drag Race” and “Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List.”

The GLAAD awards will take place in New York City on March 16; Los Angeles on April 20; and San Francisco on May 11.
