Prep basketball: Coosa games postponed; other schedule changes announced

WIth the threat of potentially hazardous weather in the forecast, several adjustments have been made to tonight's prep basketball schedule, including one postponement and several changes in tip-off times.

The Coosa vs. Murray County games have been postponed, and will be rescheduled for a later date. School officials said the make-up date has not yet been determined.

In Lindale, where the Pepperell teams are hosting Calhoun tonight, the varsity games have been moved up by an hour. The girls game will be start at 6 p.m., and the boys will follow at 7:30 p.m. (The JV boys game is at 4 p.m.)

In Summerville, the varsity doubleheader between Model and Chattooga has been pushed up two hours, and the JV games have been cancelled. The girls varsity game will start at 5 p.m., and the boys will follow at 6:30 p.m.

A similar scheduling change has been made in Trenton, where the Dade County teams are slated to host Armuchee.

The JV games have been cancelled for tonight, and the girls varsity game has been moved up to 5:30 p.m., with the boys to follow at 7 p.m.

No scheduling changes have been made at either Rome High and Darlington, according to school officials.

The Darlington teams are hosting Excel Christian on Senior Night at the Huffman Center. The girls varsity starts at 6 p.m., and the boys follow at 7:30 p.m.

The Rome teams, also having their Senior Night festivities, are hosting Paulding County, with the girls starting at 6 p.m., and the boys to follow at 7:30 p.m.
