The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for most of Northwest Georgia through 10 a.m. Sunday. No snow is expected but wet roads will continue to freeze through Sunday morning. Bridges will ice first.

Drivers are urged to use caution and stay off the roads if possible.

Patches of fog and black ice have been reported, but the sunshine is expected to return Sunday and temperatures are projected to rise to a high of 52.

So far, .25 inches of rain has been recorded at Richard B. Russell Regional Airport for the day.

A chance of rain and snow is expected tonight before 10 p.m. Look for partly cloudy skies overnight, with a low around 32. Calm wind. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
